Do you know what to expect once you say "I DO?" This book is a fun, quick read about the first years of marriage. However, if you have been married a long time you will enjoy this book as well. The authors give you both the wife and husbandÃ¢ÂÂs point of view on topics ranging from who washes the dishes to when to use your credit card. Each chapter in the book is followed by some discussion questions. These are a great resource for joint devotional times.

Each chapter takes on a topic important to a happy and successful marriage. You will begin to understand that each of you comes from different family traditions. This means that one might only celebrate birthdays with family and the other wants big parties. Another example could be paying only cash or only using credit cards. The authors do a good job giving you solutions to working through these and many other potentially volatile subjects.
