Great 1 page a day practice. Eventually some quality sentences like Jesus forgives). Letters are rounded without the extra tails which are cumbersome with DNealian. At this age it is hard to work in any workbook because of binding and the distractions of other pages to look at. We rip out pages for the week & place in color-coded paper clip for each day;making it easy to just grab the work for the day without having to get different books for each subject.When assignment is complete, we just add it to a 3 ring binder. Definitely using this handwriting program in coming years.

This 1st grade BJU Handwriting text caught me off guard. The book is over 300 pages and is bound with a gum binding . The intent is that teachers in a large classroom setting can remove pages easily to distribute to students daily. The problem for me is that, just opening the book cover caused the cover to separate from the binding along with several pages. This is not an ideal book for a home school mom unless you want to keep track of all the loose pages from the beginning.
