Build a wikiup like some of the American Indians who lived in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Idaho; a Navajo Hogan; Iroquois Longhouse; Seminole Chickee; or Cheyenne, Sioux and Comanche tepee. Other activities look at leatherworking, canoes, cooking baskets, cornhusk dolls, the potlatch, wampum belts, and more.

Please note: this book speaks of Native Americans in the past tense, with one sentence acknowledging modern Native Americans. Activities for creating sacred objects such as sand-paintings, shaman masks, and ceremonial headdresses are included, and not all objects are tied to specific tribes.
