This is an excellent resource. It covers many topics, gives mini-biographies and provides helpful solutions to common adoption issues. It's a quick read for those who don't have a lot of free time for reading ... like busy moms!

We are adopting 2 brothers from US foster care and have completed the 30 hour state required training- but this book is what we really needed. We must look at these children and ourselves as God looks at us. This book gives real examples of success as well as perseverance and patience to help us show the love and acceptance we have in Christ to a child. It also helps us judge success as a parent and the success of our children through God's eyes rather than worldly standards.

I appreciate everyone taking the time to express their own personal feelings in this book. As a first time parent of an adopted daughter, I need as much information as possible.
