I am a dean at a local Seminary and I have chosen this book to be the textbook for our Introduction to Christian Apologetic class. This book is very comprehensive though not exhaustive. It is written in a language that can be understood. I love to teach from this book and so do the students. I would recommend this book to all new interested persons who have no clue about apologetics.

It is not often I purchase multiple books and add another great one to my library. The introduction excited me knowing that what's to come will be just as exciting. Living out one's Christian faith in America and certainly in other regions of the world reguires intelligent responses to and against the many false understandings or right out lies against Christianity. I love this book. I saved me from an unhealthy leaning toward skepticism. This book made Peter Kreeft one of my favorite authors.
It is a "Mere Christianity" inspired book, and is acceptable for both Catholics and Protestants.

This is an easy to read, practical guide to help you answer the questions that creep in from non believers and from your own mind. This is a great book, and it makes a great gift for a high schooler, home schooler, grad, college bound or adult. (now if I could only get it back from my brother who borrowed it....)

A useful, accessible classic overview of Christian Apologetics. Enough meat to be considered a scholarly work, enough practical theology for it to matter to everyone else.
It would be a "5" if authors could update their material to address the post-modern mind.

I feel this book is a modern classic of Christian apologetics. If you have an interest in apologetics, you should own this book.
It is a book that attacks the major issues from a philosophical angle. I especially enjoyed reading their 20 proofs for the existence of God. I have read this, by the way, replicated in other places.
