When was the last time you were truly gripped by God's greatness?
Most Christians recall heartfelt resolutions around a fire at bible camp as children or a revival meeting. But what causes the fervor of those experiences to translate into a consistent life pattern?
Pastor and author James MacDonald believes that the better we understand God, the better we understand ourselves, and the less likely we are to favor our own will over God's. He writes, "God is not safe and He will not be squeezed into some neat, respectable Sunday discussion... No. To know God at all is to watch Him explode any box we put Him in with His terror, majesty, and indescribable wonder.'"
Expounding upon Isaiah's encounters with God, MacDonald prods snoozing saints to rediscover the wonder of God's attributes. He also shares candidly from his experiences in life and ministry where God proved Himself to be the Great I AM.
This book will spur new and seasoned believers alike to detest mediocrity in their spiritual walks. Ideal for individual or small group study.

Dan1 Stars Out Of 5January 21, 2010DanI did not enjoy this book at all. I had to force myself to read it. MacDonald uses juvenile terms such as "God rocks", "He is cool", "that is cool" to describe GOD and his Attributes. I should have known better than to buy a book that has no endorsements from other theologians. I thing James MacDonald is a true man of GOD however he is not a writer.
Fred5 Stars Out Of 5November 6, 2009FredOutstanding book on the way that we view God. I learned so many new things, although I have been a Christian for 40 years. The author brings the subject to everyone's level. It is a "Must Read" for everyone.
TARAH5 Stars Out Of 5January 22, 2009TARAHThis book changed my life in a way that words can not describe! I am a pastor's daughter born and raised in the church and I have never had a better understanding of just how great our God really is until I read this book. A thousand thank yous to my savior Jesus Christ will never be enough, and a thousand thank yous to his servant, pastor James Macdonald, will never be enough! Thank you pastor for taking the time to not only hear God's words but for sharing them with the world! This book is amazing!! Buy 9 copies for others and one for yourself because after reading it you are going to want everyone you know to read it!
