As a musician, I have to say this CD is technically excellent, and it's nice to see Southeast getting some broader exposure. I've been to the church in Louisville numerous times, and their musical teams are among the most talented in the country.As a minister, I struggle with the content of the album, which seems to completely betray Southeast's commitment to a "blended" approach to worship. The propensity of nearly all worship CD's in today's market to only give lip service to the hymns and the ancient traditions of the church for the sake of hitting the CCLI top 20 is very concerning. I'm a 30-something worship leader who loves contemporary worship, but I am one of a growing number of voices who realizes we need more. I only wish Southeast had been more faithful to their own heritage and dared to break the mold!
