There is a lot of worry, stress, and the blues going around these days. Our lives and our futures are filled with so much uncertainty and its nice to have gentle reminders to take time for ourselves in order to maintain a mental and emotional balance. I think books like 50 Ways to Feel Great Today serve that purpose well. While there is nothing ground-breaking in this book, it does have some very good suggestions about how we can take better care of ourselves and maybe spoil ourselves a bit. Sometimes when we are experience the blues or stress, we can forget the little things that this book can help us do and see. I found this a good book to not necessarily read from cover to cover. I like picking it up and looking at the table of contents and finding a chapter that appeals to me at that moment to read. For example, a cold, rainy day in January may not be the best day to visit a water park, but it is a great day to stay inside and write in a journal. Although, I did enjoy reading about visiting a water park and daydreaming about it in the middle of winter. That in itself can lift a persons spirit, not to mention give them something to look forward to. So, if your life is a bit blah and you need an inspiring and fun to read pick me - up, I highly recommend 50 Ways to Feel Great Today. I have certainly enjoyed and it is a book that will get plenty of use for a long time to come.
