Back-packers and tourists flock to Australia, especially to the amazing Great Barrier Reef.
The water is crystal clear and the fish and sea creatures are every colour of the rainbow. The coral beds are heaving with creatures of every shape and size. Watch as divers and other explorers discover God's amazing creation.
Join the travellers and Jim Cromarty as he shows us God's amazing work in the beautiful land and waters off the Australian coast.
Watch out for dangerous sea creatures like sharks and poisonous jellyfish - some can be deadly, but God has made them all.
There are a great variety of incredibly colourful creatures and some astonishingly ugly ones as well.
Learn about your world and the God who made it.
Jim Cromarty is a well-known author of both children and adult books about Australias great outdoors and Christian history. He is retired and lives in Australia. His story since retirement can be read in Stopped Work? Start Living!
Ann C.2 Stars Out Of 5September 18, 2009Ann C.I agree with the previous review. The book has very little information about the Great Barrier Reef. It is written like a travel guide with no heart felt stories like in the other books in this series.
Diana1 Stars Out Of 5August 27, 2008DianaMisleading title. Chapters on Qantas, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House were informative, but what do they have to do with the reef? In fact, only 5 of the 15 chapters gave information about the reef, and could have gone into much greater depth. The author does bring God and His word into the book, but it sometimes seems the author was having difficulty figuring out how to include a biblical principle. In places, the switch from topics of Australia to topics of God seems awkward, contrived, and trite. And my God is none of those things.
