My mother bought these for us when my sister and I were in grade school. We were probably among the first generation of homeschooled college graduates. Now, as I go back to graduate school, I still find myself singing the preposition song in my head occasionally.

I liked the book that came with it, but the kids and I didn't like the cd. The singing was bad. We skipped around to check out all the songs, and there was only one we could stand listening to.

My kids love this! The songs stick in their heads. I find myself singing them too ;) I would recommend buying the student workbook for each child. I thought we would only use it for the songs, but found the workbook to be very helpful and had to order a few more so each child could do the exercises.

My older children learned the basic definitions of the parts of speech when they were in 2nd and 6th grades. This is a great suppliment to any grammar program. Believe me, you never forget the songs! I haven't! It helped me and them as we ventured into more expanded grammar. I highly recommend Winston Grammar to follow this!
