Destination Math focuses on the skills and concepts of math rather than rote memorization, with sequenced, step-by-step, lessons, practices, and workout exercises.

Color-coded levels help students track their skill progression, with the type of workout depending on the complexity of the tutorial. A maximum of eight workouts per session with varying levels are included; each features a single question which covers all the learning objectives for that lesson.
