Author Bio

Jerry Sittser is Professor and Chair of Theology at Whitworth University. He holds a master of divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and a doctorate in the history of Christianity from the University of Chicago. He is the author of several books, including A Grace Disguised and The Will of God as a Way of Life. Married to Patricia, he is the father of three children and two step-children, all grown. Excellent Book! This book is a very touching book. The Author shares his own personal experience of losing 3 family members in an auto accident. There is an excellent chapter on God's grace and another on Forgiveness. I recommend this book to anyone. I was blessed to read this book, I felt drawn closer to the Lord. April 9, 2013

Good read for young Pastors and interns I bought this book thinking of people serving in lay counseling ministry but found it a great fit for our intern program for pastor and elder ministry. March 29, 2013

Great help in time of sorrow There is hope of a happy life after traumatic loss since reading this wonderful book.
