Tell us a little about yourself. I am the president of Messianic Jewish Communications, which publishes books under the imprint of Lederer Books, Jewish New Testament Publications, etc. and provides Messianic Jewish resources, internationally. The website is www.messianicjewish.net. I am also rabbi of Emmanuel Messianic Jewish Congregation in Clarksville, MD (godwithus.org). I am married with two grown daughters.
What was your motivation behind this project? After developing a summer training program for Chosen People Ministries, training people how to share the Messiah with their Jewish neigbors, I reduced the entire course into this book.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? That they will understand the unique relationship between Christians and Jews, which will help them understand why it's so difficult for my people to trust Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Dr. David Stern has had a definite influence on my theological thinking.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Unfortunately, there are some words missing in the title here. The actual title is You Bring the Bagels; I'll Bring the Gospel: Sharing the Messiah with Your Jewish Neighbor. I hope to get Amazon to correct this.
