This study series had ample, quality materials for study group leaders and for participants alike. There was an optional preparation section for participants for modules 2-8. The material and scripture references will be familiar to folks who have heard Dr. Keller's sermons and read some of his books. The study guide stands up by itself, but the DVD provides an average of ten minutes of lecture/sermon by Dr. Keller for the modules.

The level of the material is useful for believers of all stripes and varying ages. The Gospel is the center of all of the units, which begins with a module on God's work in cities and ends with the City of God. Highly recommended for Christian Ed and small group ministries.

I thought the product was good, but when it wouldn't play on my MacBook Pro, I was quite disappointed as we travel frequently and I don't take a CD player with me, but use my Mac. Why is this not possible? Are they so concerned with piracy, that I can't even view the product I bought? I find this very interesting in that my secular DVDs work but this doesn't. I did review a chapter at home to make sure it worked on my DVD player.
