The book was not an indepth history of Mark
I was looking for more in depth history of Mark the man. Nice book, not just what I was looking for. I will continue looking. Thank you for the quality material and fast service.

I appreciate the Lifechange series as it usually meets the requirements I want in a Bible study. I am evangelical, reformed and finding good Bible studies is a challenge. I have used different books in this series and have generally been pleased with them. One example of something I didn't like was in the study of John. A comment in the book essentially said the "wine" wasn't really alcohol but more like grape juice. I disagree with that statement. There are a few questions/comments I've come across that I/my denomination would differ from the book on.What I do like is the book usually asks you to record what Jesus/scripture actually says (or put it in your own words) instead of "imagine how Jesus might have felt" or other ways to allow our own (sinful) minds to imagine something scripture does or doesn't actually say thus muddying it up!It also has lots of helpful application questions.

Very good study as are all LifeChange studies. I just ordered Mat. and Luke and John LifeChange to complete the gospels. Continious education and studing the word is so important and i encourage all to consider this method.

This was the 2nd book our Bible study group used from the Life Change series. We have been pleased with the book/books and will continue to use them in our studies. The only thing we don't like about the series is the 1st chapter is usually an overview and we would rather have a review at the end of the study. We are now on our 3rd book (Luke), and we just opted to skip the first chapter this time around. The maps, background, study aids, leader's guide, and questions are all very well written. We especially like the margin notes/questions that are in each chapter. Our group will continue to use this series for our studies.
