Idea for holidays
How about snatching up several for the upcoming "Winter Break" and giving them as teacher gifts along with Starbuck's gift card, mug, etc?

A great read. Insightful and challenging. I love christian writers who think outside the box and who cause me to rethink my ministry. Leonard Sweet always does that for me.

This had a very unique look at how the church is lacking in making the Christian life a relationship with others as well as Christ. To a Starbuc ks lover it will mean even more.

If you want a book that is biblically sound, this is not it. The author is definitely a liberal as far as Christianity is concerned. For a person looking for biblical spiritual growth. you will not find here. And the comparisons to Chinese toy dogs (shi tzu) for a play on words is ungodly (we know what you mean). If you are down with the Emergent Church, this may be for you. However, since I'm not, I can't recommend this book for you.
