Following in the footsteps of Brevard Childs who passed away in 2007, Christopher R. Seitz presents us with the story of how the books we know as the "Prophets" came into existence. Following Childs' "canon" model Seitz in The Goodly Fellowship of the Prophets explores the origins, arrangement, and the "achievement of association" in the prophetical books we have received today. Concise and informative this book does a great job of introducing its reader to the canon of the prophets.

Christopher R. Seitz (PhD, Yale University) is professor of biblical interpretation at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, in Toronto, Ontario. He previously taught at the University of St. Andrews and Yale University. He is the author or editor of twelve books, including Figured Out, Prophecy and Hermeneutics, and commentaries on Isaiah 1-39 and 40-66.
