I think the book raises pertinent issues - even if everything Danae writes doesn't ring true to your life, it is a starting point for discussion. Prayer and self-examination along with honest discussion with parents or other Godly mentors is a great way to grow closer to Christ as you depend upon Him in your daily walk. Sugar coated or not, I recommend the book as a forum for considering issues before you have run amok in them.

I liked this book because the author speaks from personal experiences. It is easy to read by the youth because it consists of many short chapters. It also offers some answers to questions teenagers are faced with daily and challenges them with questions at the end of each chapter.

I really enjoyed this book...Danae Dobson has a fun, catchy way of writing. She also covers a lot of different topics, which is cool. I would recommend!

This book was very sugar coated, with unreal examples. I did not find that it had much substance or helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus. If you are looking for a feel good book in a fantasy world...here it is. I wouldn't recommend it if you're serious about being closer with God.
