Author Bio

2002 William Carter was born in Slant, Virginia and grew up in Virginia and Idaho. He graduated from Emory and Henry in 1949 and completed the M.Div. at Vanderbilt University in 1952. Bill has served twenty-eight year as pastor of local churches, as district superintendent, and as conference council director. He also hold an M.Ed. degree from the University of Tennessee and is a Minister of Christian Education. Bill lives with his wife, Belle, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
