Our small group just began this dvd study last week and are very pleased with the product and the subject is extremely powerful! Very satisfied and recommend this to anyone seeking to enrich and expand their understanding and participation in prayer. If I could rate it higher than a 5 star I would.

CAUTION! Do NOT get this study unless you are ready to see your people inspired with a passionate drive for faith-filled prayer! God used this study to launch a prayer ministry in our "frozen chosen" congregation. Cymbala shares his and others' stories of faithful prayer to a faithful God who loves His children and longs to answer when they call out to Him. Excellent, Scripture-filled teaching on heart-felt prayer that moves God's heart. Powerful stuff!

Great study! Pastor Cymbala speaks from his heart and has a gift for teaching as well as speaking. For small groups or Sunday school classes, or even a church-wide revival about prayer, this is a wonderful resource tool. Plus, it's VERY affordable.

Jim Cymbala is always a wonderful teacher. It would have been beneficial to have the workbook to go with the DVD.It was still worth purchasing.

I enjoyed these lessons very much, especially hearing the real life experiences of people in the Church. Inspirational, informative, and educational. I wish everyone could grasp the concept of prayer as being more than a passive activity. There's power in prayer!

This study is fantastic. It brought out many things about prayer that I never realized and renewed my hope in it. It will motivate you to want to pray and helps you realize the importance of prayer to God. The questions are very thought provoking and can lead to the bible study lasting much more time than what than the hour it tries to outline. Plan for at least a 2 hour study each time when include participation from the group.
