This is a very good movie, and I certainly recommend it. It is important to remind all of us the price that was paid to insure that we can read the Bible. I am great full that William Tyndale did not worry about Political Correctness. As stated earlier, this is a very good movie, unfortunately, I found the production, quality, to be sightly inferior for a movie that was film in 1986. It would also have been a nice bonus if it had a French audio track.

A thoroughly entertaining and thought provoking movie. What does require us to go through for Him? What is the real cost of the Bible you're reading, $10, $20, $100 or more? Much more? You've a day you wish to forget? Here is a time that should never be forgotten.
A most enjoyable movie and one that I love to watch and share with others.

This is an amazing story of a true hero of the faith. I could watch it several times especially when I have the nerve to complain. He truly knew the meaning og sacrifice. Excellent movie!

I enjoyed this movie only because I learned about the life of this man. Aside from that the production, quality, etc. was very poor. Not worth the price.

Fantastic story of the life of William Tyndale! Fire In the Bones! - It really makes you think - Would I have the faith and conviction to do the same, if I were in a similar position? Everyone should have this DVD in there home library. In John Foxe's Book of Martyrs, so many gave, before and during the Reformation. I hope we never take for granted the ability we have to read The Work Of God. I am humbled, and give thanks.

what can i say that ain't been said already. this is a wonderful movie, covers a lot of ground in the history of the English Bible. its a wonderful film, and only presents historical fact, no fiction added for entertainment, but extremely entertaining just the same. plus this edition of the DVD also has study guides you can print out for Bible study.. simply wonderful

I have had very little knowledge of the spread of the Protestant faith, beyond the life & works of Luther. I found this movie to be thought provoking in terms of Church History. While the movie was somewhat brief and superficial, it was interesting and well acted out. As a devout Christian and a patriotic American, I found this film to be important to what is taking place in the U.S.A. with regards to Christianity and Government. This film provides a window in the past which allows the viewer better understanding as to why men of faith were willing to brave the unknown to come to America and to build a New Govenment based on Freedom of Religion and dedicated to Almighty God. This is a watch more than once movie!
