Author Bio

JOHN MACARTHUR (B.A., Los Angeles Pacific College; M.Div., Talbot Theological Seminary; Litt.D., Grace Graduate School; D.D., Talbot Theological Seminary) is Pastor and Teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California and the president of The Master's College and Seminary. An active conference speaker, Dr. MacArthur has been a featured teacher with the radio program Grace to You. He has written over 150 books, including a series of biblical commentaries, The Gospel According to Jesus, The Second Coming, Twelve Ordinary Men, and The MacArthur Study Bible. John and his wife, Patricia, live in Canyon Country, California and have four grown children and fifteen grandchildren.

Love that it is scripture based! A great read and would make a wonderful womens study, just needs a study guide! August 29, 2011

This is a great book! I haven't finished it yet, but I already love that MacArthur stays consistent with biblical principles while outlining the role of women and clarifying confusing passages that often cause dissonance in the Church. Recommended for any woman who wants to know what God expects of them. September 14, 2011

I enjoyed reading this book. Gave me a better understanding of the woman's role in the church. As usual John MacArthur presents Biblical truth in an easy to understand manner. February 12, 2010

Well constructed study on the subject. Does not detour from Scripture. Very Good. I have had my first copy for well over 10 or so years. Good to give to young women who aresearching for a solid Biblical answer to theirrole.(even tho it is not from a woman).Then you can have discussion..Grammy December 26, 2009
