A mother of three, Julia Hoard resides in Traverse City, Michigan. She and her husband have pastored at Pine Grove Ministries, a fivefold apostolic ministry church, for the past eleven years. Julia works at Northwestern Michigan College as a clinical nursing instructor.

    Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a wife and mother of 3 boys. My husband and I pastor together at Pine Grove Ministries in Traverse City, MI. I am also a nursing instructor at the local community college.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I had no thought of writing a children/new believer's book. Yet, one day, God poured this concept into me. I sat down and after praying in my prayer language for one hour, picked up my pencil and God gave me this writing. As I thought about what He had given me, it dawned on me that I had never seen a book about spiritual gifts for children. I am excited because I believe this is the first of a series and that God desires us to give our children tools for them to have a deep relationship with Him.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  This is a book for new believers and/or children ages 8-12 who are desiring to understand the gift of tongues. The book is comprised of text, digital pictures, and a supporting scripture reference on each page.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I am an avid reader and worshipper of any author/artist who ministers from their experience.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I am very interested in hearing from anyone who reads this book. My husband and I would love to share with you how God is working in our life and how He will work in yours. Jeremiah 33:3
