I've never read the book which may be why I am left quite puzzled. Most of the days I can hardly understand. They are like some personal babble that you really aren't trying to share with anyone. Otherwise you would make it a little more easy to understand.
I wanted to give this 5 stars, because I love Ann's book, but this little calendar isn't quite there for me. I did read other reviews before buying, and opted to buy in spite of the few negatives, but I do have to agree with them. The letter size is too small , and the font is a bit annoying, in that the word "God" looks like "cod," and "God" and "Christ" aren't capitalized, but maybe that's just the font. The print is a gray that doesn't show up real well on the white background. A larger, darker print would have made it easier on my aging eyes.
That said, it is still Ann, of course, so if you enjoy her writing, you will appreciate this calendar.
