In God in Her Midst crafts a womanist theology and praxis of preaching to the population most overlooked in our pews: wounded women - those wounded by virtue of their gender and most particularly black women who are also wounded by virtue of their race. She offers a theological paradigm to help preachers understand their responsibility to preach liberation and empowerment to the marginalized.
