Editorial Reviews

TRY ANOTHER TRAILBLAZER As well as Gladys Aylward No Mountain too High, I'd recommend that you look at Amy Carmichael, Rescuer by night. This makes up a nice set of female role models from a variety of different background. Amy was from Ireland and was a bit of a dreamer. Gladys was from London and definitely working class. Isobel Kuhn was from America and well educated. It just goes to show that it doesn't matter where you are from or what your background is - God has a job for you to do.
