MUST read for parents of teens
Fantastic read! I told our youth minister that he needs to provide a copy of this book to the parents of every child in the youth group. The information is great for the practical skills it provides such as how to choose a college, but it also addresses the emotional side of letting a child go. I've already bought extra copies to give to friends!

One of the few materials available for parents struggling in this important transition for their student and parent. This book includes a practical as well as spiritual insight for guiding this time in your family. Only wished I had read it a few years ago and I wish there were more materials like it.

This is the best book ever for parents. I recommend that you start reading it when they are entering high school. Keep handy as you will refer back to it several times even into their young adults years. AWESOME!!

I first read this in 1998 when I had taken my firstborn son to YWAM in Arvada Co. When I started reading it I could only read one sentence, then I would have to stop because I was crying. I did this several more times before I could read without crying. A great book for anyone with children about to leave home - for college, YWAM, the service or a job.
