missy4 Stars Out Of 5Third show not appropriate for young kidsDecember 26, 2014missyThe first two Little House movies on this DVD are very good for children. The third one is about a girl that has a father who is abusive, she's pregnant out of wedlock and secretly has a baby and hides it. She starts sending notes down stream in a bottle. Laura finds the notes and eventually finds the baby. The girl ends up being rescued and reunited with her boyfriend. The girls father uses religion and God for everything but is horrible in his treatment. Not for little kids at all. The product details didn't quite tell that part of the story. I bought it for my 5 year old as a Christmas present, that one was not appropriate and scary. The other two were very good. So I'd recommend it but don't watch the Be My Friend episode with younger children.
