The instant bestseller A Girl After God's Own Heart now has an exciting companion volume!
It's never too early to teach tween girls the value of having personal devotions alone with the Lord. And a great way to encourage that habit is with A Girl After God's Own Heart Devotional.
Every day is an incredible new adventure for girls in this age group. New experiences, new things to learn, new challenges, new friendships, new activities, and much more. At this crucial transitional stage in life, these devotions will help girls to...
- see God as their best friend and helper
- trust God in their times of need
- learn how to make the best kinds of choices
- get along better with family and friends
- handle their emotions and responsibilities
A wonderful resource for helping girls to experience the joys and blessings of getting to know God.

I would probably not have purchased it if I had realized how little it was. Other than that the book itself is nicely made and the content is fabulous!

They are not on every page, but they are there and I like the way that the information is presented. I have been looking for a way to communicate God's word to my young daughters in a way that they would understand and I believe this is it:)
Tricia5 Stars Out Of 5April 19, 2012TriciaI gave this to my 8 year old daughter and she is loving it. She tries to read it every night. I wanted to get her the book but the devotional worked out better for her for right now. She like it is one page devotional. We have sat down and talked about what she is learning from the book. It is awesome to hear what she is learning.
maltymomAge: 35-44Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5Devotional with no bible reference?March 28, 2012maltymomAge: 35-44Gender: femaleI was looking for a devotional for my 9 year old daughter for Easter. Seeing this and watching the video, I thought "great! this one looks perfect!"
I am very glad, however, that I clicked to view pages in the book. There is no scripture. Really? A devotional with no scripture? How can you teach principles without scripture included as the basis for the teaching? I will not be purchasing this, and encourage you to preview first as well if you are looking for a true devotional like I was.
