Bob, Larry and the Veggie gang break out the band gear in this VeggieTales episode! Based on the legendary Bible story,
Gideon: Tuba Warrior teaches kids a lesson about trusting in God. The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything host this incredible story of one of the greatest heroes of all time. Gideon is carefully chosen to defend his people against an undefeated army of over 30,000 excessively hairy and malevolent pickles. But when Gideon's sizable army is reduced to a mere six carrots and six peas, will he be able to defeat the dilly nemesis? Can a few good Veggies stand against an army of thousands?

Absolutely adorable, as usual. We love Veggie Tales, on hand for our grandchildren when they come to visit.

my girls really love this movie! Specially the story of George Muller. They really love that story. We had discussions about the Bible Story. However, the girls kept wanting to talk about George Muller. Both stories were very good. Veggie Tales comes up with the silliest songs.

Love this video! The songs are some of the VeggieTales best, and it is very lively. I wish it were a longer video (for the times you sit in traffic) but it is worth getting and adding to your collection. So far, all the Veggie videos do not let you down.

This VeggieTales seemed to be shorter than the others and I felt the story line was kinda weak in some ways. All in all my kids love it and I would recommend it to others as I like some things that others don't and vice versa. A movie worth the price.

Another great Veggietale. I always love the shows, then have a great time reading the kids the story from the bible to compare how the Veggies portrayed it. I especially loved the George Muller portion of this DVD. The Silly Song wasn't the greatest... but that's ok. =)

My kids have seen all the Veggie videos (OK, I admit I have too) and we'd put this in the top half. Some of the efforts from a few years ago seemed to have slipped a little (see Sumo, Snoodle, Sheerluck, and most of all, Auto-tainment), but Gideon has helped reverse that trend. The two stories are great, with typical but not over-the-top Veggie silliness, and the silly song if funny, especially after Bob's lyrics are shredded and then quickly put back together. It's not a classic, but it's still worth having.

This is one of the best VeggieTales videos. There's a short story about George Muller, which makes a good point about God's provision. And the Ukulele Karaoke With Bob is hilariously addicting. The Gideon story is so good. "Brainfreeze! Ow..." The song the angel sings reminds me of "Never Had A Friend Like Me" from Aladdin.
