This is a superb reference grammar, and a classic by one of the luminaries in Hebrew Grammar from the 19th century. It is the old standard that has been replaced by Jouon and Muraoka. Gesenius does not take account of new research made possible through the discovery of various Northwest Semitic dialects such as Ugaritic, or through periferal Akkadian found at Mari and Amarna. That being said, it is worth the money you pay for it. For a more updated grammar that takes new data into account, you want to go with Jouon & Muraoka, however.

Excellent. Very detailed. This book is a mammoth of a treatise on Hebrew grammar. I read from it daily.

This is an excellent Hebrew reference analyzing various forms of syntactical occurrences. I liken it to A. T. Robertson's "A Grammar of the Greek New Testament in the Light of Historical Research", except it is for the Hebrew Bible. Its table of contents is extremely helpful
