Having been tutored by James McKweon in the Old testament it is a joy to see his pastoral warmth, fantastic grip of the Hebrew language and faithfulness to the biblical text shine through in this commentary. If any student of Genesis wishes to have a starting point in the theology of Genesis and the book itself I heartily recomend this commentary and hope that more will follow.
