Excellent toy! My 5-year son loves this toy! Though he found some of the pieces difficult to put together unaided at first, he now has become expert at putting them together. The pieces seem well-made and sturdy, and there are enough to provide plenty of permutations for entertainment. A good buy. February 9, 2013

The product pieces are sturdy and colorful. This set gives children a unique building experience as they learn how to assemble the gear pieces to form different types of moving objects that connect, work and move together. This is a good manipulative to add to a preschool classroom. Our 2 year old grandson even likes to occassionally play around with the gear set and see what he can make from the pieces.
