I love this guy! I love his heart! I love his energy! I love the big view of the world that he embraces. But most of all I love him because he has never forgotten his roots, and I admire him so much for that. This is a great read! Bill Gaither
Joe Bonsalls From My Perspective is a baby boomers delight, but hardly limited to us old-timers. Theres something for everyone here: nostalgia, patriotism, humor, faith, and a whole lot of music and fun. Ive been an Oak Ridge Boys fan for decades, but who knewuntil G.I. Joe and Lillie and now From My Perspectivethat their award-winning tenor was also a riveting author? Jerry B. Jenkins, author and owner of Christian Writers Guild
Joe has always been a gifted singer and communicator. How great to see him using these gifts on a project with such a positive message. - Michael W. Smith
Joe Bonsall is a study in contrasts. I understand contrasts because I received a degree in Classical Music, Metropolitan Opera Style, but most people who know my music think its more in sync with the Grand Old Opry. So I can understand the contrasts of a young boy who was raised in the concrete jungles of Philly, hearing the sounds of those Philly groups and then migrating to Tennessee. That same man found a new depth within himself, his family, his music and his God on a farm in Tennessee, all the while learning to play a banjo. What a contrast. What a trip! This reflection reveals a man who is not satisfied with staying in one place without making that place more productive. These reflections are a study of more things to come. I can hardly wait! Duane Allen, Oak Ridge Boys lead singer
Joes faith, patriotism, and family values are evident, and his personality jumps out of every page in this book. I found myself laughing out loud at some parts, and tearing up while reading others. Joe shared so many experiences that I felt I knew him when I finished the book, and thats what his fans will enjoy. Jamie Dailey, Dailey and Vincent
Joe paints a picture with words. He made me stop for a moment and think how blessed I am to have God in my life and to know it in my heart. Dana Williams, Diamond Rio
Joe Bonsalls musings on life, America, music, and faith confirm my instinct from meeting him for the first time. This is a genuine good guy and a talented musician with a knack for writing about his interesting life and strong faith in God and man. Vicki Myron, author of the #1 NY Times Bestseller Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World

Author Joseph Bonsall (aka Little Joey), is a member of the ever popular and successful Oak Ridge Boys. Through many short reflections and musings, Joseph shares special parts of his life. Who knew little Joey thought himself to be Elvis, or that he misses his Banjo, or that he is crazy about cats? Along with all the cute stories are recollections and thoughts on God, family, and living life.
A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
With so many reviews and recommendations from people (George H. W. Bush, Jerry B. Jenkins and Michael W. Smith), I was intrigued to learn more about Joseph Bonsall. Though having many reasons to not be humble, Joseph actually shares his faith, family and stories in a very down-to-earth manner, thanking God for what he has been blessed with (talent, family, humor). As I read this memoir on his life, I chuckled, nodded and even learned a bit about history including past presidents. Definitely a book for fans of The Oak Ridge Boys but an amusing, interesting read for others as well.
