COMPELLING STORY OF A LEGACY...
FREE FROM GUILT by Pat Simmons is an interesting inspirational women's fiction set in St. Louis,MO. #3 in the "Jamieson Legacy",but can be read as a stand alone,as I have not read the others and had no issue keeping up with the plot or the characters.
"The Jamieson Legacy series follows the lives of two brothers,Kidd and Ace, and their cousin Cameron as they are challenged to overcome their past and trust their futures to God".
"Free From Guilt" is the story of Cameron Jamieson, proud of his royal African tribe ancestor's legacy,a genealogy expert, and determined to not follow in some of his family beliefs in Christ. Enter Gabrielle Depree, who has a humble disposition and believes in Christ. A compelling story of faith, genealogy, and romance. With reappearing characters you will see the Jamieson cousins has grown in their faith, family and love. An interesting story! If you enjoy family trees, genealogy, romance and love, than "Free From Guilt" is a story for you. Written with details and engaging characters. Received for an honest review from the publisher and Wynn-Wynn Media,LLC.

Free from Guilt
When I started reading this book I could not put it down. I loved Cameron Jamieson. He saw Gabrielle and went after her with full force. He knew what he wanted but did not realize what he needed to do until he realized he was missing God. Once he found God and knew he had to have God in his life in order to have Gabrielle, he knew he was on track. What a love story for them. I love those Jamieson Men. Cant wait for the next book.

This book is an awesome read.
Pat has a gift of showing how GodâÂÂs will manifests in our lives through her writing. I love her knowledge and use of scripture in her novels. It is a form of witnessing Christ to non-Christian readers that is very innovative.
I absolutely love the way each of the characters from her previous novels are intertwined in the new story. Yet a new reader would easily find the newer novel fascinating and straight forward. Pat has also done a wonderful job of painting a picture of how single Christians will find their life mate when they persevere and wait on GodâÂÂs choice for their life partner. She is also successful in showing how being the best Christian you can be will witness to the soul of the unsaved.
The continued saga of yet another Jamison, Cameron Jamison who meets and is captivated by the beautiful Gabrielle at his cousin Ace JamisonâÂÂs wedding. Gabrielle however being the strong Christian woman knows that she cannot become weak to the flesh and succumb to CameronâÂÂs advances. Cameron on the other hand is not feeling the Christian path his other family members are following. Gabrielle does feel she can become CameronâÂÂs friend and hopefully lead him to Christ. The ensuing battle between the two keeps one hanging on for what comes next. To further thicken the plot a new Jamison is introduced into the story. The Jamison clan being strong genealogist are curious about this woman claiming to be a Jamison descendent that shows up to the wedding with TaliseâÂÂs friend Gabrielle. A totally exciting story from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book to all readers.

A Visit With The Jameson Family
have read the other two books in this series and this one is just as good. You also don't have to read the other books to enjoy this one, but do yourself a favor and enjoy all of them.
The first book started with Cameron meeting the Jamison cousins in NY. With this book we are introduced to a lot more of the family...some distantly related and some half siblings.
This story is Cameron's and his desire to be with Gabrielle. She is attracted to Cameron, but she lets him know in no uncertain terms that for her "Jesus is the ONLY way".
Both come from such strong and loving families. You feel the pull that God has actually placed Gabrielle there to help bring Cameron to him. Satan doesn't like letting go, and puts people and worldly things in the way.
What a tremendous story Pat Simmons has written. I so enjoyed this book and felt the kinship with this family. Once I began my journey I could not put this book down, and finished in less than a day.
I received a copy of this book from the Author, and was not required to give a positive review.
