Eric Allen5 Stars Out Of 5April 21, 2008Eric AllenThe best foundational doctrine Bible study I've ever seen! The key is the orientation: Holladay and Warren understand the postmodern culture in which we live, and approach their subjects -- core doctrines such as sin, salvation, God -- with an appreciation for where modern students heads' are. Yet at no point (well -- maybe one) did I find that they varied from sound, evangeligical doctrine. Nothing new here, as there shouldn't be -- core doctrine should not change. But a marvelous new approach to it, that believers and teachers should be unafraid to use with unchurched friends or any believer who needs to grow.
