I had to read this book for the course Seminary Systematic Theology. It was a good, short and useful introduction to (the works and ideas of) some theologians who had an enormous impact on theology. Whether you agree with their views or not, -most of the time not!- the writers succeeded in presenting a correct view of the discussed theologians, in a format readable as well for the more trained theologian as for the beginning one. If you don't want to read a lot of the discussed theologians, this book really helps you to get a clear picture of the core of their theology. For the purpose Grenz and Miller wrote it for, it is extremely well done.
