    Dr. Robert W. Kellemen
I'm very selective about the texts that I require in my seminary counseling classes. "Hope-Focused Marriage Counseling" easily "makes the cut." By far, it is the best text that I've found for equipping Christian counselors for marital therapy. Author Everett Worthington combines years of research, education experience, and biblical insight to offer a text that teaches counselors how to help couples rediscover hope. The writing is clear, the exercises helpful, and the bibliography excellent. Reviewer: Dr. Robert W. Kellemen is the author of "Soul Physicians: A Theology of Soul Care and Spiritual Direction," "Spiritual Friends: A Methodology of Soul Care and Spiritual Direction," and the forthcoming "Sacred Companions: A History of Soul Care and Spiritual Direction."
