    Great Tool for Catching Fish!

Music has always been an important part of learning and expression throughout the American culture. For many years, children's television has incorporated the use of words and music to influence learning. Television shows like Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Barney and Friends have all used music in educating school age children. As the times change, the genre of music used in education has evolved from the basic nursery rhyme melodies to classical music, rock, and even hip-hop. Among the many types of music used to influence learning, hip-hop music has been one of the most influential.

As the influence of hip hop music grew, it affected other forms of music and has successfully brought youth of different social and ethnic backgrounds together. It is a style of music, that fails to bring peace to the soul of its listeners. Instead, it has led many, especially the youth of today, even deeper into the psychological slavery of the "hood." With more and more songs that teach and encourage sinful pleasures, hip-hop music is directing more and more people down the path of sin and death.

In spite of all of its negative influence, God uses this medium of communication as a vehicle to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of its power to draw and cultivate a society of people hip-hop is an effective tool in the Christian faith. Just like its secular counter-part, Christian hip-hop uses music and lyrics to get a message across to its listeners, however, the message of Christian hip-hop, is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mixed with scripture, the Christian hip-hop type of music is a great instrument for witnessing to the generation of youth and adults of today. God has infused this genre of music with His love, word, and power to draw many to Christ. The true liberty that many seek through the sound of hip-hop music can finally be realized because the Love of God has chosen the least likely and foolish style of music to confound the wise and capture the lost souls of hip-hop music, hook, line, and sinker.

I have all three of Flame's CDs. He is a genious when it comes to teaching about the true Christ. The beats are banging and his flow is excellent. If you really want a CD that focuses on Christ and not just mention his name here and there, then this is the CD for you. Trust me, if you love the Lord and love Hip Hop, then cop this.
