I love Flame's music! Very anointed man of God! V Rose rocks! Beautiful voice and she uses it for the Lord! Awesome cd! I also love Lecrae and Grits music. :)

It's good to see Flame back and on his own label to reach the lost with the Gospel and the saints with the truth of God. He is definitely a Christian hip-hopper worth buying, though this CD is actually not his best work. The title song Recaptured sets the theme for the whole CD; reminding saints to be recaptured by God because we were captured by sin (a wonderful message for the unbeliever as well). Though the production value seem to overwhelm some of the songs, tunes like Power, which reminds us of the power we have in Christ, Nonsense, which reminds us what Christ freed us from, Move, a song that encourages us to obey/serve Christ, and Double Back, which exhorts us not to leave our brethren behind when they stumble or fall, are great additions to many of Flame's Christ-honering songs. My negatives about the CD are minor, but I didn't care too much for the songs featuring V Rose; she is a talented singer, but she seem to dominate those songs more than the rap lyrics message. Maybe the songs will grow on me with more listens. Also, there were too few songs; maybe I'm just spoiled by the song lenghts of Flame's first two CDs. Despite that, this is still a good Flame CD that should be added to your collection and I pray he will continue to serve the Lord on his new label.
