I bought this book, because of the good reviews. How on earth did it get those? From relatives or friends? It is not only boring and so bad in describing, that I failed to be able to form a good picture in my head of the surroundings, it is SHALLOW as well. I wrestled through 50 pages, before I finally really gave up on it. So shallow, I have no idea why it is called a christian book. Maybe it would get better later? I will never know, for I started to read a much better book afterwardS and am not inclined to waste any more of my good time on this poor product. Wasted my 79 cents on the ebook: it's not even worth that much.
Yep, this book was great! I read it all the way through in one sitting! There was a power outage so I began to read it on my tablet, and continued even after the power was restored. I certainly recommend it!!!
I found Ray Blackston by mistake and I'm so glad I did. His book "Flabbergasted" was so good I read the entire series. I loved this book and all of the colorful characters in it. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.
It talks about a guy who decides to go to church, possibly for the wrong reasons, and he's probably not the only one there who does..
But then he learns so much from the people around him.
I have to admit that I've read this book a while ago, so I don't remember all the details, but that is one of the rare books I would actually recommend to a friend who doesn't like to read (aka my brother!) since it's got a great writing style and a great message as well.
Definitely worth the read! (especially if it's free!)
