ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

KurisutaAge: 18-24Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Satisfying conclusionSeptember 27, 2012KurisutaAge: 18-24Gender: femaleCaitlin Campbell has always enjoyed having things her own way as the sister of Niall Campbell, the head of her clan. Her strong will and fiery spirit add to her stubborn determination. However, she is about to discover that things can quickly get out of her control.
Darach MacNaghten's life has been far from easy. He seems doomed to cause pain to every life he touches. Despite being cast out of his own family, he is compelled to try to save them from extinction and restore their name.
Darach and Caitlin find themselves drawn together through circumstances beyond their control. Caitlin must decide between her attraction for this dangerous Highlander and her family loyalties. Will Darach's plans lead to a deadly game that neither can afford to lose?
[As in the first two books, this one has a mystery, though not as pronounced. In "Child of the Mist", it was the traitor trying to bring about Niall's downfall. In "Wings of Morning", it was the murderer of Regan's husband. In this book, it is the murder of a Colquhoun heiress that Darach is accused of. It was a bit of a surprise finding out who was responsible.
I give this book four stars because it's a bit slower than the first two, felt like it dragged a little, at least to me anyways. Also, I didn't like how there were contrasting differences in the physical description of certain characters. Here they are: Niall is described as having brown hair when in "Child of the Mist" he's described as having black hair; In two different chapters Caitlin has red lips, while in a chapter later in the book she has pink lips; Darach is described with short hair and then later it's states that the wind whips his hair into his face. Granted, hair does grow, but not in the short time that the events take place. Still, it's a really good book, and I recommend it.]
