Many couples live with the ache of not being able to have children. Malcolm and Nick Cameron are writing from such a background themselves. This book tells of their struggles as they coped with years of infertility and will take you through the story of their miscarriage and the task of piecing their lives back to together afterwards. Throughout their ups and downs, and amidst the heartache, Malcolm and Nick have been carried through by God, and emerged on the other side stronger than before. This book will help you whether you are going through a similar situation or if you have a friend or family member that is facing the heartache of longing for, or losing, a baby.
As Christians too often we are unwilling to share our experiences with others, not realising that there are countless couples in the same position, longing for a child, confused by 'why them'. Here Malcolm and Nick Cameron have produced an honest and real account of their experience. They do not claim to have the answers as to how you should deal with infertility or miscarriage, but they can point you to the one who does, our Heavenly Father who never leaves us, and draws alongside us in our times of sorrow and pain and is there to pick us up when ever we fall.

Tell us a little about yourself. We struggled with infertility for a number of years and eventually experienced the miracle of a natural conception, after a three month pregnancy we lost our baby to miscarriage. This book has been written with tears, but with a knowledge that God knows and He cares. We do not have all the answers but we do know a God who does! My husband and I are normal people, with a normal life but with a totally awesome God!
What was your motivation behind this project? In all that we have been through with years of infertility followed by miscarriage we struggled to find a book where someone had walked the same pathway and was able to share their experiences at the same time as pointing us to a faithful God. So we prayed that a book would become available but never dreamt that we would be the answer to our own prayers!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? We hope that folks that are going through similar circumstances to us will be encouraged and that our story will point them to the Lord.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My inspiration are ordinary people that are all out for God! I love to read books by Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Mike Bickle, Terry Virgo and Jack Deere (and many others!)
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: The foreword of the book is by RT Kendall. Website for further info www.hopewhenithurts.co.uk.
