Excellent reading for Christian teens or those who want to know what walking a Christian life looks like, faults and all. Recommend the entire series along with Payton Skyy's series as well.

I didn't read the first three books in the series but I did read the last two and I thought they were both lame. The characters are unrealistic and so are the stories. In this book 4 people died within the space of a semester. That doesn't happen in real life. But I may not be the best judge since I couldn't relate to Laurel. She has a more 'preppy' attitude towards life where as I possess a more 'punk' attitude. And it was annoying how at the end of each chapter she says that she is going to try and talk to God more or not worry as much but she goes right back to where she started. And I thought this book was also very racist and the racist attitudes towards THEMSELVES annoyed me the most.I think Moore does write well but the story is pretty bad.

The conclusion to the Laurel Shadrach series is heartwarming and captivating. Laurel tries out for cheerleading after realizing that gymnastics is not what she's meant to do, and she has a great time with her roommates and her library buddy. Definitely the best book in the series.
