Tell us a little about yourself. I am married mom of two teen-age boys both living with the disease, "epidermolysis bullosa;" a rare genetic skin disorder. I am a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh with a business degree. I enjoy speaking to groups, writing, and doing volunteer work and spreading the hope that is available to us all through Christ. I am the founder of "You"nique in Christ Ministries.
What was your motivation behind this project? Wanting to make available a Bible study that was contemporary and relevant to a woman's everyday life.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? That we are all ordinary women put on this earth to do "extraordinary" things for each other and God. That God puts people in our paths to teach and mentor us so we can pass our experience and knowledge to others. We need mentors to help us become "godly" women.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My biggest source of influence are the women I meet everyday that I learn from or whom I can help navigate rough waters of their lives.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: That we are all "you"nique in Christ and that we can all find "you" in Christ.
