What a timely and well thought through program. Max Lucado provides a very timely antidote to our fear filed culture and lives. It is a powerful life changing small group study - easy to organize and facilitate with the tools, DVD, participant guide, etc. How much better would our lives, relationship and communities be if we lived in love rather than fear? Fearless is what 1John 4:17-19 is all about.

The one thing that I don't like about the series is that each participant needs to buy the companion book and use it in order to get full value out of the material. That is a little pricey for typical Sunday School participants using the series for only 6 weeks.

The small group kit covers chapters 1,2,3 and 10, 13, 14 in the book. I was disappointed and would not recommend it. You would be better off, just purchasing the book and using the study questions at the back of the book.
The dvd was especially disappointing. Each of the 6 sessions is less than 5 minutes in length and consists of Max Lucado repeating, verbatum, excerpts from the chapter you will be discussing.
There is nothing to be gained by using the small group kit. Save your money.

This study is very informative. Puts you in touch with your inner self. I wish the DVD lesson was a bit longer. The price, the quality and the availability make this a good choice for some great discussions.
