God cares that we know who he is, and he longs for us to understand him better. Through his Word he revealed his triune nature, though many avoid in-depth study of this doctrine because it is so deep and mysterious.
But God's revelation of himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit affects how he relates to us, how he made us, and who he is eternally. The doctrine of the Trinity is essential to our understanding of him and of our faith. The focus of this study is to examine the ways in which the three Persons of the Trinity relate to one another, how they relate to us, and what difference this makes to our lives.
To understand just how God is both One and Three is to delve into some of Scripture's most glorious truths and to experience the joy of beholding the wonder of our triune God. This is a practical study for you and your home, church, and ministry.
Tim RaymondMuncie, INAge: 25-34Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Model of theology for laymenOctober 12, 2010Tim RaymondMuncie, INAge: 25-34Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 4This book is great! It's the best short book on the Trinity I am aware of. It explains in simple but clear and accurate language what it means that God is a Trinity. It also shows the manifold applications of the Trinity to the individual, the family, and the church. My only criticism is that in a book intended for laymen, it occassionally uses technical language that average believers may not be familiar with (e.g., egalitarian, taxis, etc.). But for the layman who likes to read, it is outstanding.
John Hubbartt5 Stars Out Of 5October 14, 2009John HubbarttI have presently read about half of the book, and found that the content to be excellent. It is the best book on the subject of the Trinity that I have ever read. It is a very readable book, not needing a seminary/theological degree to understand. I would highly recommend the book to nobody wishing to have an understanding of a very difficult suject.
Ramsis Benjamin4 Stars Out Of 5February 9, 2008Ramsis BenjaminAlthough perhaps the concept of the Trinity could never fully be appreciated by our feeble minds, Mr. Ware's attempt nonetheless is noteworthy for its "down-to-earth" mannerism and its existence and applciation in the every-day life.
