I have used this book to teach skills to all four of my sons and I am very pleased with it. It shows the balance between living for the world and living for God.

As the other reviews stated, this is a wonderful course. Many of the topics are also suitable for boys. They may not be sewing, but they do need to budget, do simple repairs and maintenance, prepare some foods, get along with others, and my favorite, babysit!

I found this curriculum to very educational and helpful to young girls. I like the way that the scriptures are in the daily work.

This was a home economics program that covered everything you would and would not have thought of. We used it for a co-op for our daughters and their friends. They had a great time learning together and the moms found it stress free!

This is a very attractive curriculum with an interesting variety of topics. The biggest drawback that I found was that it did not support my family's conservative viewpoints in the area of dress and personal standards. The first Lifepac deals with personal grooming, but the first chapter is somewhat anti-standards in the areas of dress and personal style.
I will have to work with my daughter as she goes through this Lifepac to make sure she understands that it does not reflect our family's values.
Later Lifepacs do not seem to have any such issues.
