Faithbuilders Witness Gear Devotion Cards, Victorious Through Christ 4 5 1 1

Nice cards, great graphics. I wanted some Scripture cards that looked appropriate (i.e. cool, hip) to write notes to my teenage son. The graphics on these are perfect for that - very masculine. The back is blank, so these are great for passing along a note with the verse. I knew from the product description that there were only 4 different verses (repeated 5 times). Not a great value in my opinion, but I knew that when I purchased it, so I didn't let that affect my rating. The protective case might hold up, but it doesn't seem very sturdy. I purchased 4 different packs (of varying designs but all with the same packaging), and one of the cases was already torn at the center. Not a problem for my use, but I couldn't give it an excellent quality rating because of that. (The photo also shows a dark gray case - the one I received is green.) If you are interested in exactly what version is printed on the cards, it is the NIV 1984 version with a couple of words omitted here or there. I really appreciate "..." utilized in a verse if ANYTHING is left out; however, these cards do not do that. The content is still okay - maybe that is just personal preference. I don't want to have to go look up a verse to make sure it is accurate (that the meaning wasn't changed with the loss of a few words). All in all, a nice product. December 13, 2012
