In this small group Bible study DVD, The Case for Faith: A Six-session Investigation of the Toughest Objections to Christianity, Lee Strobel discusses tough questions while addressing the most common objections to the Christian faith.
Doubt is familiar territory for Lee Strobel, the former atheist and award-winning author of books for skeptics and Christians. But he believes that faith and reason go hand in hand, and that Christianity is a defensible religion.
In this six-session study, Strobel uses his journalistic approach to explore the most common emotional obstacles to faith in Christ. These include the natural inclination to wrestle with faith and doubt, the troubling presence of evil and suffering in the world, and the exclusivity of the Christian gospel. They also include this compelling question: Can I doubt and be a Christian?
Through compelling video of personal stories and experts addressing these topics combined with reflection and interaction, Christians and spiritual seekers will learn how to overcome these obstacles, deepen their spiritual convictions, and find new confidence that Christianity is a reasonable faith. Best when used with the companion Case for Faith Participant Guide (110 pages; sold separately).
1. The Challenge of Faith
2. Dealing with Doubts
3. Evil and Suffering, Part 1

In 2005, it became the first discussion guide ever to receive the prestigious Charles Kip Jordon Christian Book of the Year award. Garry lives in suburban Chicago.
Cocopuff1 Stars Out Of 5DisappointedJanuary 31, 2012CocopuffQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1We ordered this for a group study of new and searching christians. The length of the video is only about 10 minutes with breaks for discussion allowing it to be marketed as a 30 minute video. We sent it back. Not at all what we expected. A lot of airport shots. Would have liked to have more substance to it.

Marjorie Bernakevitch2 Stars Out Of 5October 16, 2009Marjorie BernakevitchThe material is good, but very choppy short presentations. In order to be abe to use it effectively for a group, he should have included longer teaching sessions...something people could get their teeth into.
Ibanez59@hotmail.com3 Stars Out Of 5June 7, 2009Ibanez59@hotmail.comThis is good study, and Lee Strobel is an excellent presenter. It's very thought provoking. However, I didn't think this was quite as good (nor as inspiring) as The Case for Christ. My Small Group did this and enjoyed it, but feel like we finished each session with a strong sense of "take aways." The participant guide also seemed to ask a lot of "obvious" / Sunday school type of questions (most of use ended up not even using them).
